What Does the Catholic Church Teach About Revelation & The End Times: Come Find Out!

Understanding the book of Revelation in the Bible and what the Catholic Church teaches about the end times and Christ’s second coming can get confusing. There’s a lot of misinformation out there and some Protestant teachings, such as The Rapture, the Church doesn’t believe.

We want to clear all that up with a study by Dr. Brant Pitre on Jesus and The End Times: A Catholic View of the End Times that starts on Sunday, September 22 at St. Mary Catholic Church in the parish center. Class is 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. with another class starting Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 6:30 p.m. Each class session covers the same topic. We are offering two sets of times for the classes, Sunday and Tuesday for everyone’s convenience.

The study isn’t available on Formed, so we have the DVDS ready to play that will allow us to ask questions and engage in a thorough Catholic study.

You can download the End Times Study HERE

It has all the dates and times over the next four weeks.

The course will answer these questions:

  • What does the Catholic Church teach about the end times?
    • Is the idea of “the rapture” a Biblical concept?
    • How does one read the Book of Revelation?
  • Why did Jesus prophesy the destruction of the Temple, and how does it relate to the End of the World?
    • What will the Final Judgment be like, and how will we be judged?
  • Are we in the ‘End Times’ now
