Announcing Our New Principal//Meredith Inman

Meredith Inman is the new principal for St. Mary’s Catholic School.

Inman has taught at St. Mary’s for nine years as the kindergarten teacher. She has twelve years of teaching experience. She received a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Hanover College and her Masters in School Administration from Indiana Wesleyan College.

“Meredith brings strong leadership ability to our school,” said Father Jerry Byrd. “She has great initiative and a solid educational background. She knows the needs of our school, but more importantly she loves her Catholic faith and those entrusted to her care at St. Mary’s.”

St. Mary’s Catholic School has a long and vibrant tradition of Catholic education for 158 years.

The long tradition of Catholic education is important to Inman.

“Our mission at St. Mary’s School is to strengthen our students’ relationship with Jesus Christ while also providing them with strong academics. The school has a long standing tradition in this community, and continuing to provide a strong sense of Catholic identity and academic excellence in the future is of utmost importance.”

Inman said her love for the school, students and families led her to apply for the position.
“We have a really great thing going here with a strong staff and great students and families,” she said. “I want to build on previous successes, grow our outreach and continue molding disciples of Christ.”
