To end our month of October’s devotions to the rosary and Our Lady there will be a Candlelight Marian Procession on Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. outside of St. Joseph!
Marian Processions are traditional ways to shows honor for the Mother of God & calls down Her intercession for us!
The intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a strong help of Christians!
For some, this is a hard teaching but as Dr. Scott Hahn said in an article about his struggles of praying with Our Lady it starts to make sense when we think about what Christ wants from us.
“Our veneration of Mary, then, is an essential part of our imitation of Christ. We follow Him not just by honoring our own mothers, but also by honoring whomever He honors—and with the same honor that He bestows. “
