Send Your Prayer Petitions to the Eucharistic Pilgrims!

Eucharistic Pilgrims are carrying YOUR PRAYERS and offering them each day right now!

You are invited to be a part of Jesus being carried on foot, by motorcade, and by boat across more than 6,000 miles of our nation – culminating in the National Eucharistic Congress in Indianapolis.

You can send the pilgrims your intercessions as they walk with Jesus across our country toward the National Eucharistic Congress.

The Routes of the Eucharist

There are four routes being walked and several of them will cross near to North Vernon.  All Saints Parish in Guilford, Ind., then onto St. Vincent de Paul Parish, and St. Joseph Parish in Shelbyville — all on the Interstate 74 route that will head into Greenfield, Ind., before arriving in Indianapolis. Other routes that stop near North Vernon, besides Indianapolis, are in Floyd Knobs, Terre Haute, Greenwood, and Plainfield areas.

Many events are planned such as adoration, talks, Mass, fellowship, potluck dinners, and the opportunity to walk in procession.

We will be publicizing more about the events as they get closer. Discover how to get involved in The National Eucharistic Processions : eucharisticpilgrimage.org.

If You Can’t Make It

If you can’t make one of the pilgrimage events – which also gives you a plenary indulgence for participating in the procession or the actual Eucharistic Congress – you can offer your sufferings through Christ for the pilgrimage. There are some elderly nuns who are offering their faltering steps down long hallways in union with the steps of the pilgrims. There are many ways in which we can become intercessors!

The plenary indulgence approved by Pope Francis is granted to the Christian faithful who participate in the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage at any point in the processional routes!
